Senior Content Writer

Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Content Writer who can produce SEO-optimised blogs, website content and social media copy tailored to the education sector. You will create content that builds LLRI's authority in healthcare and life-science education, drives organic traffic, and moves prospective students through the awareness-to-admission funnel.
Key Responsibilities
• Write SEO-optimised blog posts on career, course, industry and eligibility topics relevant to LLRI's programs (e.g., Clinical Research, Medical Coding, Bioinformatics, Clinical SAS).
• Research and target keywords by search intent (informational, commercial, course/career-related) in coordination with the SEO strategy.
• Write and optimise website/landing page copy — course pages, FAQs, meta titles and descriptions — for both search rankings and conversions.
• Create engaging social media content (captions, carousels, scripts) across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube tailored to each platform and funnel stage.
• Write content across the funnel: awareness (career/industry trends), consideration (course comparisons, curriculum, faculty), and conversion (testimonials, placement stories, offers).
• Collaborate with the design/video team to align copy with creatives and campaigns.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, tone and brand consistency.
• Track basic content performance (organic traffic, engagement) and refine content based on what performs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of professional experience in content/blog writing, preferably with SEO exposure.
• Strong command of written English with the ability to adapt tone across blogs, website copy and social captions.
• Working knowledge of on-page SEO — keyword placement, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking.
• Experience writing for social media with an understanding of platform-specific formats and hooks.
• Ability to simplify technical/healthcare or life-science topics for a student audience.
• Comfortable using SEO/content tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs or Surfer SEO (any one).
• Basic familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• A writing portfolio/samples of published blogs and social content is required.
Good to Have
Prior experience writing for the education, EdTech, or healthcare/life-sciences sector.
Basic understanding of Google Analytics/Search Console to gauge content performance.
Familiarity with Canva or similar tools to visualise social content ideas.
