Responsibilities
Lead the electrical engineering and design activities for utility-scale BESS projects.
Develop electrical system architecture, SLDs, protection schemes, and power distribution layouts.
Perform electrical equipment selection including transformers, switchgear, breakers, cables, protection relays, and auxiliary systems.
Coordinate with EMS, PCS, SCADA, Mechanical, Civil, and Commissioning teams for project execution.
Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and vendor documents.
Conduct power system studies including:
Load Flow Analysis
Short Circuit Analysis
Harmonic Analysis
Earthing Studies
Protection Coordination Studies
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC, and Utility/Grid standards.
Support procurement activities through technical bid evaluation and vendor qualification.
Lead FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and performance validation activities.
Provide technical support during project execution and troubleshooting.
Drive engineering optimization for cost, reliability, safety, and performance improvements.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
M.Tech in Power Systems/Electrical Engineering preferred
