Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Faculty role based at DICS Punjabi Bagh in New Delhi. The role involves planning and delivering classroom sessions on software subjects, including programming languages, software development concepts, and related tools. The faculty member will prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical lab exercises to help learners gain hands-on experience. Daily responsibilities include explaining concepts clearly, guiding students through projects, assessing performance through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The role also includes updating course content, participating in academic meetings, and supporting students with doubts, career guidance, and exam preparation.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of core programming concepts and at least one major programming language (such as C, C++, Java, Python, or similar).
Understanding of software development lifecycle, basic data structures and algorithms, and common development tools or IDEs.
Ability to design clear lesson plans, create teaching materials, and structure practical lab sessions or projects.
Effective classroom management skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to learners with varied backgrounds.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach to teaching.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in software or IT education is preferred but not strictly required.
Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate new tools and practices into the curriculum.
