Role Description The Taluka Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The role involves coordinating activities at the taluka level, including planning and monitoring local programs, maintaining accurate records, and preparing periodic reports. The Taluka Coordinator will liaise with local authorities, community representatives, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and timely execution of initiatives. Daily responsibilities include tracking progress of field activities, supporting problem-solving for operational challenges, organizing meetings or training sessions as needed, and ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines. The role also requires proactive identification of local needs, recommending improvements, and supporting data collection to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong coordination, organization, and time management abilities to oversee multiple activities at the taluka level.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with local authorities, community members, and internal teams.
Basic data management and reporting skills, including comfort with maintaining records and using standard office software.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently while following established processes and guidelines.
Prior experience in field coordination, community work, or local governance support is an advantage.
Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with the Pune Division region and local languages will be beneficial.
