Role Description The Assistant Manager DT role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi. This role involves supporting senior leadership in managing client engagements across tax, regulatory, and business advisory projects, including planning, execution, and timely delivery of assignments. The Assistant Manager will coordinate with clients to gather information, analyze data, prepare reports and presentations, and ensure that advice is aligned with current regulations and internal quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising junior team members, reviewing their work, maintaining engagement documentation, and contributing to the development of internal methodologies and best practices. The role also includes assisting with business development activities such as drafting proposals, conducting market research, and participating in client meetings to help identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax and regulatory information and translate it into practical recommendations.
Proficiency in professional communication, including clear report writing, presentation skills, and effective client interaction.
Experience in managing or coordinating projects, including planning tasks, monitoring timelines, and supervising team members.
Comfort with using productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms) to organize and present data.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in tax, regulatory consulting, or business advisory services, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
Ability to work on-site in Delhi, NY, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical, compliant practices and continuous learning in response to evolving regulations and market conditions.
