Role Description The Web Specialist internship role at Cyberlop Labs is a remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and optimization of web properties that communicate Cyberlop’s value in application security. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with front-end implementation, updating and maintaining website content, and supporting responsive web design across devices and browsers. Interns will help analyze user behavior and site performance through web analytics tools, making recommendations to improve usability, accessibility, and conversion. The role also involves collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure the website accurately reflects product capabilities and partner programs. This is an internship role with opportunities to learn modern web practices and contribute to tangible improvements in a security-focused environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Web Design and Front-End Development to create intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to implement and maintain clean, standards-compliant code.
Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to interpret traffic, engagement, and conversion data for continuous improvement.
Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript or modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is beneficial.
Understanding of usability, accessibility (WCAG guidelines), and cross-browser compatibility is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment are important.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent self-taught experience is also valued.
