Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging videos for digital and traditional media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include selecting and organizing clips, editing sequences, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and performing basic color adjustments. The role also involves collaborating with directors, producers, and designers to interpret briefs, refine visual narratives, and ensure consistency with brand and project guidelines. The Video Editor may support motion graphics integration, assist in pre-production planning, and maintain organized project files and asset libraries.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual tone and maintain consistent look across projects.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand identity.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
Solid understanding of framing, pacing, sound design basics, and visual storytelling for various formats (social media, ads, long-form content).
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial, as is a portfolio showcasing completed video projects.
