Role Description The Ecommerce Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The individual in this role will manage and optimize online sales channels, including marketplace platforms and brand-owned ecommerce sites, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, inventory, and promotions. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring sales performance and analytics, coordinating with marketing and sales teams on campaigns, and improving customer experience through content, merchandising, and checkout optimization. The role also involves collaborating with operations and warehouse teams for timely order processing, returns handling, and stock management, as well as maintaining compliance with platform policies. The Ecommerce Manager will identify growth opportunities, implement ecommerce best practices, and provide regular performance reports to leadership.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret ecommerce metrics, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and ecommerce platforms.
Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to drive revenue, manage promotions, and optimize product assortment and pricing.
Candidates should possess E-Commerce expertise to manage marketplaces and online stores, including catalog management, order flows, and customer journeys.
Candidates should possess Marketing skills to support digital campaigns, SEO/SEM activities, and online merchandising strategies.
Experience with ecommerce platforms (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify or similar), MS Excel, and reporting tools is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; relevant ecommerce or retail experience is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and retail environment.
