Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Neurologist based in Hisar, with primary on-site responsibilities at S l Hospital and Trauma Center and limited opportunities for remote work as appropriate. The Neurologist will evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions, including seizures, stroke, movement disorders, neuropathies, and headaches. Daily tasks include conducting detailed neurological examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEG and neuroimaging, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with emergency, intensive care, and rehabilitation teams. The role involves inpatient rounds, outpatient clinic consultations, follow-up care, and participation in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings. The Neurologist will also provide guidance to junior clinicians, contribute to clinical documentation and protocols, and support patient and family education on neurological disorders and treatment options.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine and Neurology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions.
Clinical expertise in Epilepsy, including seizure classification, EEG-based evaluation, and long-term management strategies.
Competence in Movement Disorders, with experience in assessment and treatment of conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and dystonia.
Proficiency in EEG interpretation and integration of findings with clinical assessments for accurate diagnosis and care planning.
Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency/postgraduate training in Neurology; valid medical registration/license.
Ability to work effectively in emergency and trauma settings, including acute neurological care and collaborative decision-making.
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and for clear clinical documentation.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development; prior experience in hospital-based neurology is an advantage.
