## About the Role
Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies is seeking a **Product Manager – Below Grade Waterproofing** to lead product strategy, product lifecycle management, and go-to-market execution for commercial waterproofing products. This remote, full-time role is responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening customer value propositions, and ensuring product strategies align with the broader business strategy.
The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with sales, R&D, technical services, operations, marketing, finance, and customer service to manage product portfolios, identify market opportunities, develop product roadmaps, and support revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
## Key Responsibilities
* Establish and direct product strategy and roadmaps for new and existing products.
* Lead product ideation, incubation, development, testing, production, rollout, and performance analysis.
* Lead the Stage Gate process for roofing products and actively manage Henry's New Product Development Process.
* Manage productivity, profitability, customer acceptance, and lifecycle performance of existing products.
* Oversee product testing with R&D, Product Stewardship, and third parties to support compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Partner with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and customer service to support product portfolio performance and growth.
* Conduct market research and analyze trends affecting assigned products and systems.
* Monitor competitive products, pricing, and promotions and develop competitive analysis.
* Make strategic recommendations regarding product assortment and product portfolio decisions.
* Establish product strategies for distribution channels and set pricing to support revenue and profitability goals.
* Manage SKUs and recommend new product additions and product deletions.
* Develop product positioning and establish recommended price points.
* Work with Marketing Communications to develop sales tools and collateral for internal and external customers.
* Own the development and implementation of go-to-market plans for the product line.
* Build and communicate long-term product roadmaps.
* Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and define product vision.
* Educate and train sales teams on new and existing product value propositions.
* Travel as needed, primarily within North America, approximately 20%–33%.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
## Required Qualifications
* Experience with full lifecycle product management.
* Experience with P&L management, market segmentation, and brand development in the construction industry.
* Knowledge of financial components of product and marketing management, including product costs, pricing, product mix, profit contributions, P&L statements, budgets, and other financial metrics.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt systems, procedures, or operating concepts to new situations.
* Ability to conceptualize, organize, and execute new initiatives.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting and negotiating with internal and external customers.
* Previous project management experience in a cross-functional environment.
* Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and execute large-scale projects from vision through implementation while fostering collaboration and commitment.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
* Experience with JDE.
* MBA.
* Product management and sales/product marketing experience in building products or the construction industry.

## Education & Experience
**Education:**
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
* MBA is a plus.
**Experience:**
* Minimum 10+ years of successful sales and product marketing experience, preferably in the building products or construction industry.
* Experience with full lifecycle product management, P&L management, market segmentation, and brand development in the construction industry.
* Previous cross-functional project management experience is required.
