Accounts Executive
Organization: Kingston Educational Institute (KEI)
Location: Barasat / Madhyamgram, West Bengal
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: 15000/- to 20000/-
Experience: 1–3 Years
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in GST, Tally, and Accounts Finalisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations:
Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records
Handle journal entries, ledger posting, bank reconciliation, and account maintenance
Prepare vouchers, invoices, payment records, and supporting documentation
Ensure accuracy in financial data and accounting records
GST & Compliance:
Prepare and file GST returns within prescribed timelines
Maintain GST records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Reconcile GST data and support audit requirements
Assist in handling statutory compliance-related activities
Accounts Finalisation:
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts finalisation
Prepare financial statements and reports
Support internal and external audits
Reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation
Software & MIS Reporting:
Manage accounting entries and records using Tally
Generate financial reports and MIS statements
Maintain and update accounting data regularly
Prepare reports required by management
Requirements:
B.Com (Mandatory)/M.Com (Desirable)
Knowledge of GST (Mandatory)
Knowledge of Tally (Mandatory)
Knowledge of ERP system
Accounts Finalisation experience is mandatory
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
Preferred:
Experience in Educational Institution / Hospital / Service sector preferred
Knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation will be an added advantage
