Role Description The Franchise Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves identifying and qualifying prospective franchise partners, managing lead generation activities, and guiding candidates through the franchise evaluation and onboarding process. The Franchise Development Manager will develop and present franchise business plans, collaborate on territory and expansion strategies, and maintain relationships with existing franchisees to support their growth and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting discovery meetings, preparing franchise proposals, coordinating training for new franchise partners, and working closely with internal teams to ensure brand and operational standards are consistently met. The role also includes tracking sales metrics, reporting on pipeline status, and contributing insights to refine the overall franchise strategy.
Qualifications
Franchise development skills, including Franchise Sales and Franchising expertise, with experience managing end-to-end franchise lifecycle.
Business-focused capabilities such as Business Planning and strategic analysis to evaluate franchise models, territories, and financial viability.
Lead Generation and pipeline management skills to source, qualify, and nurture prospective franchise partners through structured sales processes.
Training and onboarding skills to design and deliver effective training programs for new and existing franchisees.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to present complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Proven experience in franchise development, business development, or related sales roles; experience in design, construction, or building materials is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and use CRM and productivity tools effectively.
