Store Stylist

Role Description The Store Stylist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore responsible for delivering an engaging and personalized in-store styling experience. Each day, the Store Stylist will greet customers, understand their preferences, and recommend outfits that align with Mulmul’s aesthetic and the customer’s needs. This role involves styling complete looks, assisting with fitting room sessions, and providing detailed product information on fabrics, sizing, and care. The Store Stylist will also help maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure the store is organized and welcoming, and support sales targets through exceptional customer service. Collaboration with the store team on new collections, styling ideas, and in-store events is an important part of this role.
Qualifications
Strong styling, fashion sense, and understanding of Indian ethnic wear; ability to create cohesive looks for diverse customers.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide personalized recommendations.
Good communication skills in English and local languages; confident in explaining product features, fits, and styling options.
Attention to detail in visual merchandising, store presentation, and garment care; ability to keep displays neat and aligned with brand guidelines.
Sales orientation with the ability to meet store targets ethically; confident in suggestive selling and handling basic POS operations.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Prior experience in fashion retail, styling, or customer-facing roles is preferred; knowledge of fabrics and garment construction is an advantage.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for the Mulmul brand, craftsmanship, and creating joyful customer experiences.
