Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to support a growing accounting firm. This is a multi-disciplinary role that requires a strong technical background in U.S. Tax (Corporate & Individual) and Full-Cycle Bookkeeping.
Duties And Responsibilities
U.S. Tax Returns: Prepare and process a 50/50 split of Individual and Corporate/Business tax returns (Drake tool a plus)
Manage monthly accounting for various clients using QuickBooks.
Oversee payroll workflows and ensure timely compliance.
Potential to transition into a client-facing role, managing direct inquiries and reporting after an initial ramp-up period.
Minimum Qualifications
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills (accent is okay as long as understandable)
Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent degree is highly preferred
Experience: 3+ years of experience in U.S. Tax Preparation and Bookkeeping, someone who has worked within an Accounting/CPA Firm environment is highly desirable
Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in QuickBooks (required), Drake Tax Software (a plus)
Proven experience with U.S. Corporate/Business and Personal Taxes a must
Familiarity with U.S. Payroll laws and processes (Payroll experience negotiable)
