Our vision extends beyond traditional tutoring or schooling. SVA is developing programs, resources, digital content, family experiences, and ultimately a physical learning space where education, family support, creativity, and community can work together.
As SVA continues to grow, our website plays an important role in helping families, supporters, and future partners understand not only what we currently offer, but what we are building.
About the Role
Sparks Village Academy is seeking a creative and dependable Digital Content & Website Intern to help manage and strengthen our online presence.
This role is ideal for someone interested in digital marketing, communications, branding, content creation, website design, or education entrepreneurship.
The intern will primarily work within our Wix website to keep information current, improve the presentation of existing pages, create new website content, and help translate SVA's ideas into clear and engaging digital experiences.
This is not a coding-heavy web development position. We are looking for someone who can combine creativity, organization, writing, and visual judgment to help our website grow alongside the organization.
What You'll DoWebsite Management
Update and maintain the Sparks Village Academy Wix website.
Add or revise website sections, pages, buttons, images, and program information.
Check the website regularly for outdated information, broken links, formatting issues, or areas that need improvement.
Maintain consistency in fonts, layouts, imagery, colors, and overall branding.
Help ensure the website is easy for families to navigate on both desktop and mobile devices.
Website Content Creation
Turn SVA ideas, programs, announcements, and initiatives into engaging website content.
Write and edit short website copy, program descriptions, headlines, calls to action, and informational sections.
Help create visual content for website pages using tools such as Canva.
Select or develop visuals that reflect SVA's brand and the families we serve.
Help create landing pages for new programs, events, campaigns, or initiatives.
Digital Storytelling & Brand Development
Help the website communicate the larger vision of Sparks Village Academy as an educational ecosystem.
Transform testimonials, interviews, student/family stories, program updates, and organizational milestones into website content.
Collaborate with other SVA interns who create social media, video, interview, and community content to identify material that can also be featured on the website.
Suggest creative ways to make the SVA website more engaging, interactive, and informative.
Website Growth
Research website trends and features that may benefit SVA.
Assist with basic SEO practices, including page titles, descriptions, keywords, and readable website copy.
Review website analytics when available and help identify which pages or content receive the most engagement.
Recommend improvements based on visitor experience and organizational needs.

Have strong written communication skills.
Pay attention to details such as spelling, formatting, links, and visual consistency.
Are comfortable learning new digital tools.
Can take an idea or rough direction and turn it into something polished.
Are willing to ask questions when you do not understand the vision behind a project.
Are interested in education, entrepreneurship, marketing, communications, branding, or community development.
Experience with Wix, Canva, website design, social media, digital marketing, or content creation is helpful but not required. We value the ability and willingness to learn.
