2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Manager of Learning & Development is responsible for leading onboarding, service standards, and change management efforts across the Trailborn hotel portfolio. This role partners with property leadership to develop capable teams, manage operational transitions, and promote consistent guest service. The position significantly contributes to the organization''s ability to maintain brand standards and improve overall guest satisfaction.
3. Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and facilitate training programs for all hotel departments aligned with brand standards and compliance.
Create and update onboarding materials that clearly communicate the company’s service philosophy to new hires.
Lead the people-side of hotel openings, rebrands, and operational changes through transition playbooks and on-site training.
Collaborate with general managers and department heads to identify skill gaps, assess training effectiveness, and report on key performance metrics.
Certify and develop property-level trainers, equipping them with the skills and tools to deliver training independently.
4. Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in training, talent development, or organizational effectiveness, preferably in hospitality.
Proven ability to design and deliver training programs across multiple properties or sites.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within U.S. hotel locations.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Education, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools preferred.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
