Role Description The BIM Modeler role at NIDI BIM is a full-time, on-site position based in Habra. The BIM Modeler will create, develop, and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring accuracy and consistency across project documentation. Daily tasks include interpreting design and construction drawings, coordinating model updates with project stakeholders, and resolving modeling issues to support clash detection and construction planning. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers, adhering to BIM standards, and preparing model-based outputs such as plans, sections, and schedules. The BIM Modeler will also support continuous improvement of BIM workflows and contribute to best practices within the team.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience creating coordinated project models.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to interpret and translate design intent into detailed models.
Hands-on experience as a Modeler, focusing on developing accurate 3D representations and associated documentation.
Understanding of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within multidisciplinary BIM models.
Relevant technical education in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a project team environment.
Familiarity with industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit or similar) and basic knowledge of coordination/clash detection tools.
Ability to work on-site in Habra and manage deadlines in a fast-paced project setting.
