Imergene is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Editor who can turn raw ideas, footage, and concepts into engaging, polished content.
We are looking for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, visual presentation, and what makes content interesting enough for people to stop and watch.
Responsibilities
- Edit reels, short-form videos, promotional content, and social media videos
- Turn raw footage into clean, engaging, well-paced content
- Add suitable transitions, text, sound effects, music, subtitles, and visual elements
- Maintain consistency in Imergene’s visual and content style
- Work closely with the team to understand the idea behind each piece of content
- Suggest creative editing ideas instead of only following instructions
- Improve existing content based on feedback and performance
- Organize project files, footage, and exported content properly
- Stay updated with current editing styles, social media formats, and content trends
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of video editing and storytelling
- Good sense of timing, pacing, music, and visual composition
- Experience editing reels and short-form content
- Attention to small details
- Ability to understand references and recreate a required editing style
- Creative mindset and willingness to experiment
- Ability to take feedback and make revisions quickly
- Good communication and coordination skills
Editing Tools
You can work with tools such as:
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or any professional editing software you are comfortable with.
We care more about the quality of your work than the software you use.
