Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in the Pune Division. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of home finance customers, including acquisition of new clients within the affordable housing segment and retention of existing customers. Daily activities include meeting prospective and existing customers, understanding their financing needs, explaining loan products and terms, collecting and verifying documentation, and coordinating with credit, operations, and collections teams to ensure timely processing. The role involves monitoring customer accounts, resolving service issues, supporting repayment discipline, and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners and local market stakeholders. The Relationship Manager is expected to achieve assigned business targets while upholding regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications
Customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term customer connections.
Sales, negotiation, and business development capabilities, particularly in retail lending or affordable housing finance.
Basic financial analysis and credit assessment skills, including understanding of income profiles in low and informal-income segments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages relevant to the Pune Division.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
Knowledge of housing finance products, lending processes, and regulatory guidelines is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; prior experience in home loans, microfinance, or retail banking is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in field-intensive roles, travel within the Pune Division as needed, and adapt to diverse customer segments.
