We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Full-Stack Engineering Intern who wants to dive deep into building production-grade applications. You will work alongside our engineering team to help deliver secure, reliable, and high-velocity systems handling complex workflows, sensitive transactions, and robust data structures.
Role Overview
We are seeking an eager and driven Full-Stack Intern with a strong interest in robust backend systems and clean UI development. In this role, you will help build, test, and optimize features across our Django backend and Next.js frontend stack.
Because we work on complex implementations—including fintech-grade workflows—you will gain hands-on experience dealing with critical real-world challenges: transactional integrity, data validation, API security, and database management. You will have the opportunity to write PostgreSQL queries, structure backend logic, and help deliver intuitive user interfaces via Next.js under the guidance of our senior engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Engineering (Django / Python)
Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
Support the implementation of backend business logic for financial or high-stakes transaction workflows, including data validation, processing hooks, and audit-logging.
Write clean, maintainable code and help write unit tests to ensure system stability and fault tolerance.
Database Engineering (PostgreSQL)
Work with relational data models, schemas, and migrations in PostgreSQL.
Write and optimize standard SQL queries and assist with database performance tuning under supervision.
Ensure proper data handling practices, input sanitization, and security compliance.
Frontend Engineering (Next.js / TypeScript)
Build responsive, high-performance UI components using Next.js (App Router, Server Components) and modern styling frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
Connect frontend components securely to backend APIs, managing state and handling asynchronous error flows gracefully.
Collaborate with the team to translate design wireframes into clean, accessible web interfaces.
Qualifications & Requirements
Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (Python) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Framework Familiarity: Exposure to or foundational knowledge of Django / DRF for backend development and React / Next.js for frontend development.
Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), SQL queries, and data normalization.
Mindset: Eagerness to learn complex engineering patterns, handle high-security/fintech domain constraints, and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced product environment.
