About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at GrabJobs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our core platform, enhancing the scalability, reliability, and user experience of our recruitment solutions. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop, and deploy features that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be instrumental in building robust backend systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring our platform remains secure and compliant. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates in the US and Canada, who are passionate about creating impactful technology solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a strong technical background with proven experience in software development. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have extensive experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is essential. Experience with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL, is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are critical. Prior experience working in agile environments and a passion for open-source projects are considered advantages.
