Role Description This is a full-time remote Salesperson role focused on promoting SATCO’s lighting solutions to new and existing customers in MN ND and SD markets. The Salesperson will build and manage a pipeline of prospects, conduct in person, virtual and phone-based sales presentations, and provide product recommendations tailored to customer needs. Daily responsibilities include following up on leads, preparing quotes, negotiating pricing within established guidelines, and closing sales. The role also involves maintaining accurate customer records, and collaborating with internal teams on order fulfillment and customer support. The Salesperson will regularly monitor market trends and competitor offerings to help identify growth opportunities and support sales strategies. 50% travel in MN ND and SD
Qualifications
Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and closing.
Experience with customer service and consultative selling, with the ability to understand and match customer needs to product solutions.
Proficiency with digital tools, including video conferencing platforms, and standard office applications.
Knowledge of or interest in lighting products, electrical or building supplies, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and listening abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple sales activities.
Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including reading sales reports, monitoring metrics, and using insights to improve performance.
High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
Previous sales experience, preferably in B2B or wholesale distribution, is a plus.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
