JasperRose are partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed cybersecurity technology business who are looking to hire a Director of Finance & Accounting. The business is on track to achieve 50% revenue growth this year versus last; you will be joining at a key time where you will be instrumental in supporting the leadership team in continuing to drive the growth of the business.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Finance & Accounting will take full ownership of the finance and accounting function. You will lead a team of three and will be a hands-on, trusted partner to the wider leadership team. You will oversee the day-to-day accounting as well as building out the FP&A function for the business. You will lead the financial strategy for the business, this is a genuine opportunity for someone to grow into a broader commercial finance leadership seat as the business scales.
Key responsibilities:
Own monthly close, GL, revenue recognition, AR/AP and cash management, ensuring accurate, timely financials under US GAAP
Build out budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and dashboards to give leadership real visibility into performance
Lead and develop a finance team of three, embedding clear ownership and accountability
Act as a genuine financial partner to the CEO and senior leadership on strategic decisions, pricing and compensation
Oversee international entity accounting, audit, tax and regulatory compliance
Own and optimise NetSuite and related systems, driving automation and smarter use of AI across finance
Support ad hoc capital-raise and strategic project activity as the business scales
What we're looking for:
CPA Qualified (preferred)
Strong accounting experience including experience leading the controllership for a business
Proven FP&A experience
Ability to work in a hands-on role while operating at a senior, strategic level
Experience leading and developing a team
NetSuite experience strongly preferred
A background in SaaS, technology or recurring-revenue businesses is strongly preferred; prior exposure to consumer subscription models is a plus
Curious about AI and automation
Ability to build credibility quickly with a senior leadership team and operate as a true partner
