Role Description The Accounts Executive / Accountant – Diagnostic Centre role at Radiance Scans and Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role includes managing day-to-day accounting operations, such as recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing invoices, and handling billing and collections. The individual will reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash flow, assist with payroll processing, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities also include preparing basic financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The role requires accurate documentation, timely reporting, and effective communication with management to support smooth financial operations of the diagnostic centre.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to manage invoicing, billing, and basic financial reporting.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data, documentation, and compliance-related tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, patients, vendors, and auditors.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Chennai, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a healthcare environment.
Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Prior experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or a similar service industry is an advantage.
