TARA is an AI-powered team management and business operations platform designed to help companies work smarter, improve productivity, and automate everyday workflows.
We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Producer to join us on a 2-month contractual engagement and help create high-quality video content across multiple platforms.
The Role
We're looking for someone who understands that great video content is not just about editing software—it's about understanding the viewer, capturing attention, and communicating a message effectively.
You should have strong knowledge of manual video editing techniques, storytelling, audience psychology, and modern content creation workflows.
You'll work on different types of content, including:
Founder-led videos
Product videos
Reels and short-form content
Brand and marketing videos
Social media content
Other video formats as required
What We're Looking For
🎬 Video Editing & Production
Strong knowledge of manual video editing techniques.
Proficiency in professional video editing software.
Understanding of video storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual continuity.
Ability to work with different video formats, styles, and content requirements.
Knowledge of audio editing, color correction, transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects.
Ability to deliver professional-grade video content across platforms.
🧠 Audience Psychology & Storytelling
Understanding of viewer psychology, attention spans, and audience engagement.
Ability to create compelling hooks that capture attention in the first few seconds.
Strong understanding of storytelling, narrative structure, and retention.
Ability to identify engaging moments and transform ideas into compelling video content.
Understanding of how content should adapt to different audiences and platforms.
Ability to suggest creative improvements to strengthen the content's impact.
🤖 AI & Modern Editing Workflows
Experience with AI-assisted video editing tools is welcome.
Ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, creativity, and production quality.
Familiarity with AI-based captioning, transcription, audio enhancement, video repurposing, and content creation.
Willingness to experiment with emerging video and content production tools.
📱 Multi-Platform Content
Understanding of content requirements across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Knowledge of short-form and long-form video formats.
Ability to adapt content for different audiences, aspect ratios, and viewing experiences.
Familiarity with social media content trends and engagement patterns.
Tools & Technical Skills
Experience with relevant editing and content production tools, including but not limited to:
CapCut
Descript
Adobe Premiere Pro
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
Canva
AI video and audio editing tools
Strong editing fundamentals matter more than knowing every tool.
