Role Description This is a full-time Freelance Interior Designer role in a hybrid setup, based in Kannauj, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations, and coordinating space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting clients, understanding requirements, creating mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing detailed drawings with the project team. The role also involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are executed as planned, monitoring site progress, and adjusting designs based on practical constraints. The designer will manage timelines for assigned projects, maintain project documentation, and ensure that all designs align with safety standards and budget parameters.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) skills for creating cohesive, functional spaces.
Candidates should possess solid Space Planning abilities to optimize layouts and circulation for different types of interiors.
Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to create and interpret technical plans for implementation.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization tools is beneficial.
Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Strong communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Experience with materials selection, vendor coordination, and on-site supervision is an advantage.
