Role Description This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) internship role is a hybrid position based in Gujarat, India, with some work-from-home tasks acceptable depending on operational needs. Interns will assist nursing staff with basic patient care activities, such as helping with daily living tasks, monitoring and recording vital signs, and maintaining patient comfort and safety under supervision. Responsibilities may include supporting admissions and discharges, documenting care in patient records, and communicating observations to the nursing team. Interns are expected to follow infection control protocols, adhere to hospital policies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support smooth clinical workflows. The role provides hands-on learning opportunities, mentoring from experienced healthcare professionals, and exposure to hospital management processes.
Qualifications
Relevant training or coursework in nursing assistance, patient care, or a related healthcare field; current or in-progress CNA certification preferred.
Ability to perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with mobility and hygiene, and supporting patient comfort under supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner.
Attention to detail, willingness to follow clinical guidelines, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
Ability to adapt to a hybrid work setting, manage time effectively, and learn hospital procedures and documentation practices.
Availability to work shifts as scheduled, including potential weekends or holidays as required by the hospital.
