The Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer to support electrical engineering activities while contributing to quality assurance and project improvement initiatives. The role is suited to a detail-oriented professional who can review technical requirements, identify quality issues, coordinate corrective actions, and work with multidisciplinary teams to maintain engineering standards across projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support electrical engineering activities, technical reviews, and project coordination.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, technical documents, and quality requirements.
Develop and monitor practical quality checks for engineering deliverables and project activities.
Identify technical defects, quality concerns, and potential project risks.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant project stakeholders.
Monitor project deliverables against approved specifications, standards, and requirements.
Prepare inspection records, technical reports, quality updates, and project documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams.
Support root-cause analysis and recommend practical improvements to engineering processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, quality, and project performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, quality assurance, or engineering project environments is preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and quality management practices.
Knowledge of engineering specifications, inspection processes, documentation, and project standards.
Familiarity with quality control, corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.
Ability to identify discrepancies and develop practical, evidence-based solutions.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Comfortable managing technical priorities independently within a part-time remote environment.
