Role Description The AI Automation Consultant will work in a remote, contract capacity to design, implement, and optimize AI-driven automation solutions for client organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client workflows and business requirements, identifying automation opportunities, and selecting appropriate AI tools and platforms. The consultant will configure, integrate, and test automation solutions, document implementation details, and provide training and guidance to client stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and iterating on solutions to improve efficiency and reliability. Collaboration with internal teams and clients to define objectives, timelines, and success metrics is a key part of this position.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of AI concepts and automation technologies, including practical experience implementing AI-driven workflows or solutions.
Proficiency with common automation platforms or tools (e.g., workflow automation, RPA, low-code/no-code tools) and ability to integrate them with existing systems.
Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and optimize performance of automated processes.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and preparing concise documentation.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet agreed deadlines.
Background in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
Experience consulting with clients or working in a client-facing role, preferably in digital transformation or technology implementation.
Familiarity with data privacy, security best practices, and ethical considerations in AI and automation.
