We're Hiring: Robotics Engineer (ROS 2 / Humanoid Robots) — VTS Global Tech, Kochi
VTS Global Tech is an AI infrastructure company headquartered in Kochi. As part of our expansion into robotics, we are hiring for our Robotics Division, which builds and deploys "VTS Global AI Brain" — AI-powered humanoid robots for enterprise customers across India.
Role
You will own the robot side of the product: integration of our AI platform with humanoid robots, robot skills and safety, hardware, and field deployment.
Responsibilities
• Integrate our AI platform with humanoid robots using the manufacturer SDK, ROS 2 and Python
• Develop and test robot skills (greet, wave, point, walk to a spot, sit) with e-stop and safety limits
• Set up on-robot compute (Jetson / companion PC), networking, cameras and microphones
• Manage hardware: batteries, actuators, diagnostics and repairs in coordination with the manufacturer
• Deploy robots at customer sites, train operators and resolve field issues
Requirements
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, ECE, CS or related field
• 2+ years hands-on experience with ROS 2 and Python; C++ preferred
• Experience programming physical robots (quadruped, humanoid, arm or mobile robot), not only simulation
• Strong Linux, networking and Git skills
• Willingness to travel across India for deployments
Preferred
• Experience with any humanoid or quadruped SDK (Unitree, Booster or similar)
• Isaac Sim, MuJoCo or Gazebo; fundamentals of reinforcement learning
• NVIDIA Jetson / edge deployment
• RoboCup, robotics competitions or robotics startup background
Location: Kochi (Aluva), Kerala — on site | Full time
Compensation: ₹7–12 LPA based on experience
