Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Banswara district, responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational management of the hospital. This role includes overseeing front-desk operations, coordinating patient appointments and workflow, and assisting in managing staff schedules and duties. The Assistant Manager helps monitor service quality, ensures adherence to hospital policies and basic compliance requirements, and supports billing, record-keeping, and inventory coordination. The individual collaborates with clinical and non-clinical teams to resolve operational issues, improve patient experience, and maintain an organized and efficient work environment. The role may also involve basic reporting, supporting management decisions, and contributing to process improvements.
Qualifications
Solid organizational, time management, and coordination abilities to handle multiple administrative tasks in a clinical setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, caregivers, medical staff, and external partners.
Basic knowledge of healthcare or hospital operations, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and record maintenance.
Proficiency with computers and office software (e.g., MS Office, email, data entry), and ability to learn hospital management systems.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify issues, follow procedures, and support smooth daily operations.
Ability to work on-site in Banswara district, maintain professionalism under pressure, and contribute positively to a team environment.
Educational background such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in management, healthcare administration, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in hospital administration, clinic management, or a similar customer-facing supervisory role is an advantage.
