Role Description This is a full-time Environmental Consultant role based in New Delhi with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The Environmental Consultant will conduct environmental impact assessments, support regulatory compliance processes, and prepare technical reports and documentation for clients across diverse industries. The role involves analyzing environmental data, assessing project risks, and recommending mitigation measures aligned with national and international standards. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams and clients to design ESG strategies, support permit applications, and contribute to sustainability initiatives such as resource efficiency, waste management, and emissions reduction. Responsibilities also include staying current with environmental regulations and policies, contributing to client presentations, and participating in stakeholder meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Environmental Science and Environmental Consulting, with the ability to apply scientific principles to real-world projects.
Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Compliance, including familiarity with relevant national regulations and standards.
Proficient in Report Writing, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured technical documents and assessments.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
Ability to analyze environmental data, use basic analytical tools or software, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a consulting environment.
Familiarity with ESG frameworks, policy developments, and sustainability best practices is highly beneficial.
