Mentor A Promise is a New York City–based nonprofit serving children and youth (ages 5–18) experiencing housing instability, grounded in the belief that every child is a Promise—full of potential, dignity, and possibility. About Mentor A Promise
Mentor A Promise (MAP) is a New York City–based nonprofit supporting children and youth ages 5–18 experiencing housing instability through mentorship, education, enrichment, creative expression, career development, advocacy, and community-centered opportunity.
Partnerships are an important part of how MAP expands opportunities, resources, expertise, and experiences available to our organization and the communities we serve.
But we do not simply want to count partnerships.
We want to understand their impact.
Role Overview
MAP is seeking a curious, analytical, and mission-driven Partnership Impact Analyst to help us answer one important question
What difference are our partnerships actually making?
The Analyst will help evaluate partnerships across MAP and examine how relationships with universities, nonprofits, businesses, community organizations, professionals, and other institutions contribute to MAP's programs, organizational capacity, and mission.
You will work with real organizational information to identify patterns, develop impact indicators, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, create reports and dashboards, and help leadership understand which partnerships are creating meaningful value.
This role is intentionally designed to be accessible to emerging professionals.
You do not need to be an experienced researcher or hold a graduate degree. We are interested in candidates who are analytical, curious, organized, willing to learn, and excited about using evidence to help a nonprofit make better decisions.

Data Collection & Organization
Help collect and organize partnership information from across MAP.
