Role Description The Executive Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction, operations, and performance of Dhandani Venture Private Limited. This role involves setting and executing business strategies, managing key functions and teams, and monitoring financial performance to ensure sustainable growth. The Executive Director will build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, regulators, and other stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading senior management, reviewing business plans and budgets, making data-driven decisions, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. The role also includes mentoring leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and representing the company in external forums and negotiations.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in senior management or executive roles, with a track record of driving organizational growth and performance.
Strong strategic planning and business development skills, including the ability to evaluate opportunities, manage risks, and execute long-term plans.
Solid understanding of finance and operations, with experience in budget management, financial analysis, and process optimization.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels, internal and external.
Experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices.
Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and manage change effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment in Mumbai, with readiness to handle complex and evolving business needs.
