Role Description The Owner role at HK Hovedstaden is a part-time remote position focused on overseeing strategic direction and ensuring the organization’s mission is upheld. Day-to-day tasks may include setting long-term goals, monitoring organizational performance, and guiding key initiatives that support members and staff. The role involves collaborating virtually with leadership teams, participating in remote meetings, reviewing reports, and making decisions on resource allocation and priorities. The Owner is expected to foster a culture of transparency, fairness, and member-centered service while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications
Experience in leadership, governance, or organizational management, preferably within unions, member organizations, or non-profit entities.
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to set priorities and evaluate outcomes.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including comfort with remote meetings and digital tools.
Understanding of labor relations, employee rights, and collective bargaining frameworks is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusivity, and ethical practices in the workplace.
Ability to work independently on a part-time basis, manage time effectively, and remain responsive to stakeholders.
Relevant education or equivalent experience in management, law, public administration, or a related field is an advantage.
