Vice President of Finance

Role Description The Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance. This role manages the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders. The Vice President of Finance will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing financial controls, optimizing financial systems and processes, partnering with business leaders on investments and cost management, and presenting key financial metrics to the executive team and board. The role also involves mentoring finance team members, maintaining strong governance practices, and contributing to long-term organizational planning.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Finance and strong Analytical Skills to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
Experience in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting and long-term financial modeling.
Expertise in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Demonstrated ability in Financial Reporting, including compliance with applicable standards and preparation of executive-level reports.
Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role, preferably at the vice president or director level.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
Experience working in remote or distributed teams, with effective time management and collaboration skills.
Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are beneficial.
