CPS is seeking a hands-on Project Safety Coordinator to support our U.S. project sites. We need someone who identifies hazards, addresses unsafe conditions, and holds teams accountable for safe execution.
Responsibilities
• Conduct site safety inspections and verify compliance with CPS and customer requirements.
• Identify hazards and follow through on corrective actions with PMs, leads, and subcontractors.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site orientations.
• Verify required training, PPE, and safety documentation.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and reporting.
• Maintain safety records and prepare weekly reports.
• Intervene when unsafe work is observed and escalate unresolved concerns.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of safety experience in construction, industrial facilities, warehouses, or related field operations.
• OSHA 30-hour training and working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Strong communication, documentation, and follow-through.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Confidence in addressing unsafe practices and holding teams accountable.
Travel Requirements
• Approximately 85% travel is mandatory, including extended stays at U.S. project sites.
• Must have appropriate authorization to perform the contracted work in the United States.
• South America -based applicants must already hold a valid U.S. visa. A visitor visa alone does not authorize on-site work.
