Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Lohaghat. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising civil infrastructure projects from concept to completion. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing drawings and technical specifications, conducting site inspections and measurements, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves performing basic calculations, assisting with stormwater management and drainage solutions, monitoring project progress, and preparing reports and documentation for stakeholders. The Civil Engineer will work closely with project managers and other engineers to resolve technical issues and support efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals.
Candidates should possess skills relevant to Civil Engineers, including project planning and site coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in Planning and basic project management for civil works.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and drainage system design.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience with construction drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, basic structural or drainage design tools) is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and in teams.
Familiarity with local regulations, safety practices, and quality control procedures in civil construction.
