Director of Project Management

Role Description The Director of Project Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing complex, cross-functional programs and projects across FS Distribution’s logistics, supply chain, and multi-industry operations. This role will lead project teams, define project scope and objectives, develop implementation plans, and manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery. The Director will establish project management standards, tools, and best practices, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous process improvement in alignment with organizational goals. Daily responsibilities include stakeholder communication, risk identification and mitigation, coordination with operations, technology, and commercial teams, and reporting on project status and outcomes to senior leadership. The role will also mentor project managers, foster collaboration, and ensure projects adhere to the principles of security, excellence, and transparency.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management and Project Management skills, with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight, including managing project costs, forecasts, and ROI analysis.
Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, with a track record of guiding, mentoring, and developing project teams.
Experience in Process Improvement, including designing and implementing scalable workflows and operational enhancements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma) is an advantage.
Background in logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments, with familiarity in technology-enabled operations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and measurable outcomes.
