Role Description
The Director of Project Development is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of key strategic projects from concept through completion. This position leads cross-functional teams, defines project scope and objectives, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and timelines. The Director develops project plans, manages budgets and resources, tracks progress against milestones, and proactively mitigates risks. Daily activities include collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing external partners, negotiating contracts, and preparing status reports and presentations for senior leadership. The role also involves refining project development processes, supporting team performance, and promoting best practices in project governance and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, including planning, execution, risk management, and reporting.
Strong Team Leadership and Team Management skills to guide, motivate, and support cross-functional project teams.
Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight for complex projects, including cost tracking and forecasting.
Experience in Contract Negotiation with vendors, partners, and service providers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing priorities across multiple projects and time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
