Seeking an experienced freelance copywriter to work with an established communications agency on an ongoing, project-by-project basis.
We’re looking for a strong writer who can move comfortably between brand strategy, public relations, marketing and editorial storytelling and write for a variety of industries and audiences.
Projects may include:
* Brand messaging and positioning
* Website copy
* Press releases
* Media pitches
* Thought leadership and bylines
* Executive bios and profiles
* Marketing materials
* Social media copy
* Campaign concepts and creative messaging
* Proposals and presentations
* Client-facing communications
We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, find the story and write impactfully.
Desired qualifications:
* A strong portfolio and a distinctive writing voice
* Experience writing for brands, businesses or agencies
* Excellent command of grammar and structure
* The ability to adapt your voice to different clients and audiences
* Strong storytelling instincts
* An understanding of what makes something newsworthy, interesting or culturally relevant
* The ability to take a complicated idea and make it clear and compelling
* Comfort working independently and meeting deadlines
* A collaborative, low-ego approach
Experience in hospitality, restaurants, food, travel, lifestyle, real estate, retail or consumer brands is a plus.
