Role Description The Senior Project Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of power transmission line projects. This hybrid position is based in Shillong, with a combination of on-site presence at project locations and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning project scope and schedules, managing budgets, coordinating resources, and supervising construction activities to ensure safety and quality standards are met. The Senior Project Manager will lead project teams, liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities, and resolve technical and operational issues promptly. The role also involves monitoring progress, preparing status reports, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement in project execution processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Candidates should possess Inspection skills for quality assurance, compliance checks, and site verification of construction work.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills for coordinating transportation, storage, and supply chain activities related to transmission line projects.
Candidates should ideally have experience in power transmission or large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Candidates should have strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
The ability to work in a hybrid environment, travel to project sites as needed, and adapt to changing project demands is required.
