Role Description The Beauty Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Theni. The role involves providing a range of professional beauty services, including facials, basic and advanced skin care treatments, and hair removal services tailored to client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, recommending suitable treatments and products, performing procedures safely and hygienically, and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment. The Beauty Therapist will manage appointment schedules, ensure accurate service records, and deliver a high standard of customer service. The role also includes staying updated on new beauty techniques, products, and technologies, and participating in training to uphold best practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in cosmetology, with the ability to perform a variety of beauty and wellness treatments safely and effectively.
Proficiency in hair removal techniques, including waxing and threading; experience with laser hair removal is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of skin care, including skin analysis, treatment planning, and product recommendations for different skin types and concerns.
Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on client comfort, clear communication, and building long-term client relationships.
Relevant certification or diploma in beauty therapy, cosmetology, or a related field; local licensing or registration where required.
Commitment to hygiene and safety standards, including proper sanitization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
Ability to work flexible hours, manage time efficiently, and collaborate with other team members in a clinic or spa environment.
Prior experience in a salon, spa, clinic, or beauty center is preferred; experience educating clients about aftercare and products is beneficial.
