Role Description The Vice President of Service Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the quality, consistency, and performance of logistics services delivered to pharmaceutical clients. This position leads the development and execution of service management strategies, including service design, delivery standards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves collaborating closely with internal operations, finance, technology, and commercial teams to align service offerings with client expectations and regulatory requirements. The Vice President will oversee key client relationships, manage escalations, and ensure service-level agreements are met or exceeded across global markets. Day-to-day activities include setting service policies, guiding cross-functional teams, reviewing operational and financial reports, driving process optimization, and mentoring leaders within the service organization to uphold a culture of accountability and customer focus.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex operational and performance data to inform decisions and improvements.
Expertise in finance and budgeting to manage service-related P&L, forecast costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Proven experience in strategic planning, with a track record of developing and implementing long-term service management strategies.
Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, including leading distributed teams, fostering collaboration, and developing talent.
Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain, or pharmaceutical services, preferably in a senior leadership capacity.
Advanced understanding of compliance, quality standards, and risk management in a regulated industry environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and client levels.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
