Role Description The Business Manager role at RQA Pharma Consulting is a remote position responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations and supporting strategic growth initiatives. The person in this role manages client projects, monitors budgets and timelines, and coordinates internal resources to ensure high-quality service delivery. Daily tasks include preparing business reports, analyzing performance metrics, supporting business development activities, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Business Manager collaborates with consultants and leadership to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role also involves contributing to planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to support the firm’s long-term objectives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in business operations, project coordination, or account management, preferably within consulting, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.
Strong skills in planning, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work setting.
Proficiency in business analysis and reporting, including comfort with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and basic financial oversight (budgets, forecasts, and KPIs).
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and maintain professional client interactions.
Comfort with digital and collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing platforms, project management software, CRM systems) used in remote work environments.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic, consulting-oriented context.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, or familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, is an advantage.
