Role Description The Vice President of Business Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for leading and optimizing operational performance across McKesson Oncology & Multispecialty. This position oversees business operations strategy, drives operational excellence, and ensures alignment between practice management, technology, specialty distribution, and clinical program initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting operational priorities, leading cross-functional teams, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to support growth, quality, and compliance. The role collaborates closely with finance, program management, and clinical operations leaders to develop and execute operational plans, manage budgets, and support key transformation initiatives. The Vice President will also engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, enhance provider experience, and support access to high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Strong business operations and operations management skills, with experience leading complex, multi-site or multi-specialty healthcare or life sciences organizations.
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and translate findings into actionable operational strategies.
Program management expertise, with a track record of overseeing large-scale initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
Solid finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
Demonstrated leadership in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industries, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on building trusted relationships across internal teams and external provider partners.
Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, prioritize multiple initiatives, and maintain high levels of accountability and performance.
Advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
