Vice President of Sales
Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the company’s overall sales strategy, sales organization, business development, and commercial execution. This role oversees the development and optimization of the company’s sales organization, market expansion, key account development, channel management, sales team leadership, revenue growth, and international sales operations.
The Vice President of Sales will ensure that all sales functions operate efficiently and consistently, while continuously expanding high-value customers, strategic partners, and business opportunities. The role plays a key part in increasing market share, strengthening revenue performance, and enhancing the company’s competitiveness in the global jewelry market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Management
Develop and implement the company’s mid- and long-term sales strategy and business development plans.
Establish, optimize, and continuously improve the company-wide sales management system.
Translate corporate strategic objectives into clear sales plans, priorities, and execution initiatives.
Optimize the sales organizational structure, regional coverage, and sales management model.
Ensure consistent, stable, and efficient performance across all sales channels and business lines.
Monitor commercial performance and adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and business objectives.
2. Market Expansion & Customer Development
Develop domestic and international market expansion strategies and identify new markets and business opportunities.
Develop and maintain key accounts, strategic customers, and long-term business partnerships.
Expand high-value customer relationships and strategically important business resources.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging commercial opportunities.
Strengthen the company’s market presence, brand influence, market share, and revenue growth.
Lead the development of new markets and support the expansion of international and cross-border business.
3. Sales Team & Channel Management
Build and continuously improve the sales organization, talent development framework, and management structure.
Lead the recruitment, development, training, management, and performance improvement of the sales organization.
Establish effective sales channel and partner management systems.
Develop and optimize relationships with distributors, agents, retailers, and other strategic sales partners.
Establish effective sales incentive programs and performance management systems.
Lead the sales organization in executing strategic priorities and key commercial initiatives.
Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer development, and sustainable growth.
4. Sales Performance & Revenue Management
Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and performance objectives.
Develop and manage sales KPIs and performance management systems.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer data, revenue trends, and key business metrics.
Optimize customer mix, product sales mix, and regional sales allocation.
Improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention, repeat purchase, and sales profitability.
Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity, revenue generation, and overall commercial efficiency.
Drive sustainable growth in revenue, profitability, and market share.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Support
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Customer Service, Finance, and other functions.
Establish efficient cross-functional collaboration mechanisms to support sales objectives.
Ensure sales strategies and commercial priorities remain aligned with the company’s overall business strategy.
Work with internal teams to continuously improve products, supply chain capabilities, customer service, and overall customer experience.
Lead the successful execution of key accounts, strategic projects, and major sales initiatives.
Provide sales leadership and commercial support for new markets, new products, and international business expansion.
6. Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and manage potential risks associated with sales operations, customer relationships, contracts, and commercial partnerships.
Establish sales risk monitoring, escalation, and contingency management processes.
Ensure sales activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Strengthen customer management, contract management, and internal sales controls.
Standardize sales processes, commercial procedures, and business partnership mechanisms.
Support sustainable, stable, and compliant growth of the company’s sales operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
20–25 years of experience in sales management, business development, market expansion, commercial management, or related fields.
8+ years of senior leadership experience,
