Role Description The Quality Engineer role at Avya Exports is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Quality Engineer will oversee product and process quality across the production and export workflow, ensuring adherence to internal standards and customer requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring quality metrics, performing inspections and audits, investigating nonconformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The role involves collaborating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer will also contribute to documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant quality and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management to design, implement, and maintain robust quality systems.
Candidates should possess experience in Quality Control and Product Quality to monitor production outputs and ensure products meet specifications.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance to develop procedures, standards, and audits that support consistent quality performance.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and drive process improvements.
Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, quality management, or a related field, along with familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or export environment.
Experience with quality tools and methodologies (such as ISO standards, SPC, CAPA, or lean practices) is beneficial.
