IT Support Officer

Role Description The IT Support Officer is a part-time, remote role responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to team members and ensuring reliable operation of IT systems. This includes responding to support requests, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and maintaining desktop computer and printer functionality. The role involves monitoring system performance, assisting with software installation and updates, and supporting secure access to remote systems and collaboration tools. The IT Support Officer will document issues and resolutions, escalate complex problems when necessary, and contribute to improving IT processes and user experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Information Technology and common productivity software.
Candidates should possess practical experience with Desktop Computers, including hardware and operating systems.
Candidates should possess hands-on Printer Support skills, including setup and issue resolution.
Relevant qualifications such as an IT-related certificate or diploma are beneficial.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in clear language.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Experience supporting small professional service teams or legal environments is an advantage.
