Role Description The General Manager role at Mahadev Polytech is a full-time, on-site position based in Baddi. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day plant and office operations, including production planning, quality assurance, supply chain coordination, and resource allocation. This role will manage cross-functional teams, set performance targets, monitor key operational metrics, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards. The General Manager will drive process improvements, cost optimization, and efficiency initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders. The role also involves budgeting, financial oversight, and strategic planning to support growth objectives and long-term business stability.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Operational and production management skills, including experience in manufacturing, process optimization, and quality control.
Business and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze performance data, and support strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship building.
Ability to implement and maintain safety, regulatory, and compliance standards within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Proven experience in a senior operations or general management role, preferably in polymer, packaging, or related manufacturing industries.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
